Birch Farm Livery Stables

We want Birch Farm Livery to offer horses and their owners, care, comfort, and up to date facilities. The stables have been built to our specification by Hereford Stables, and provide well ventilated, large boxes, arranged in a courtyard shape. Facilities for owners include a WC, a secure tack room, and a common room, where you may sit or have a drink.

Isobel Manning, an accredited BHS Coach and Stable Manager will provide your horse with personal care and attention. With many years of experience, she will be on hand for daily advice and help, which will provide the horse owner with the reassurance that equines are extremely well looked after.

Horses are turned out individually but can have company if required, and all paddocks are post and rail or electric tape, with water, and shelter, natural or man-made. The riding is great; quiet lanes and bridleways, and also the use of a 60m by 22m sand and equirubber arena, and the chance for lessons with Isobel and for her to school your horse.

Birch Farm Livery is a small and friendly yard, confidently managed, where you and your horse can relax and enjoy each other.

Livery Stable Services

HUNTER LIVERY : care of your horse (as full), exercise and beautifully turned out on hunting days.

FULL LIVERY : care of your horse 365 days per annum, inc basic feed, forage and bedding.

SCHOOLING LIVERY : a more short term package to train a horse with or without rider, or preparation for a competition or sale.

HOLIDAY LIVERY : leave your horse in very capable hands, home from home, whilst you have a well earned break!

REHABILITATION LIVERY : for horses who have undergone surgery or suffered from an injury, we can offer an intensive care programme that will get your horse on the mend and back into work.

ARENA HIRE : per horse per hour.

Isobel can also offer clipping, trimming, weekly schooling, theory training, and help with all things equine on a day to day or long term project. She is insured and a qualified first aider. See our additional services page for more details.
